Prior to my own health struggles, I experienced a profound encounter during meditation with a majestic spiritual presence I perceived as Marie (the French spelling of Mary). This celestial entity gently touched the side of my jaw, the very area from which my subsequent health issues emerged and conveyed that I was undergoing growth. Throughout my prolonged health journey, this experience provided me with strength. I felt that there was meaning within my suffering, helping me find a deeper acceptance of my challenges. I painted a depiction of my perception as a reminder that there is purpose within our trials and that our spirit can grow from our hardships."
